Patrik Lindkvist showreel summer 2010 v2 from Patrik Lindkvist on Vimeo.
Every shot has a number in the upper left corner, that is used as a reference so that I can comment and tell you what I did on every shot below:
1:
This was part of a video demonstrating the functions of a brand new sprayarm in a dishwasher from Electrolux (my divisions main customer at Spark Vision). I did the shading, lighting and rendering. I also did a version for AEG which is not shown.
2-5:
The following are a series of shots I lit and did the majority of the shading work on for the animated feature “Sunshine Barry and the Disco Worms”. I also did a lot of render wrangling. The company I worked for was Radar Film in Copenhagen, Denmark. The film recieved a Sundance Film Festival nomination.
6:
This is a fly-through I worked on for AEG. I did all the modeling, lighting, shading, rendering and also took part in developing the company’s new look in their “showroom kitchen” which they will use for a lot of products.
7:
Did exactly the same for Electrolux (who owns AEG). The customer was very pleased with these results and they were approved at the first review meeting. We now use these kitchens for all the films we do for the client.
8:
Is a series of still images produced mainly by me. I did the lighting, shading, rendering and also some retouch work in photoshop.
9:
A shot I worked on in a demonstration-video for a washing machine with special “steam washing” features. Did the lighting, rendering, shaders, animated shaders, FX and some simple modeling on these.
10:
Another image I did the lighting, modeling, rendering, and shading work on. We did a large series of product shots in different angles and situations including toasters, coffee makers and kettles. This is, of course, a kettle.
That was the walk-through/text breakdown of the showreel. If you want to see more work, you can find it here.
